Uaminifu SACCO Society Ltd was established in 2001 to serve the KWFT family and has since grown to serve members countrywide. "Uaminifu" is Swahili for trustworthy — a name chosen to reflect the SACCO's founding commitment to its members.
As a non-withdrawable deposit-taking SACCO regulated by SASRA (the Sacco Societies Regulatory Authority), Uaminifu offers savings, financing, and investment products designed around the needs of its members — from normal savings and development loans to a growing housing programme with projects open to members and the diaspora.
Membership is open countrywide to KWH, KWFT, and subsidiaries' staff, giving members a pathway from their first deposit to long-term wealth building through savings, guarantor-backed loans, and share capital ownership.
